Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, you will lead RACGP’s enterprise-wide workforce planning framework. Partnering across People & Culture, Finance and Business Intelligence, you will turn workforce data into insights that strengthen capability, capacity and resource decisions. 

This is a fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2027. 

As our Workforce Planning Lead, you’ll:

  • Implement and embed the enterprise-wide workforce planning framework aligned with RACGP’s strategic and operational needs.
  • Analyze workforce data, capability trends, succession risks and demand and supply projections to guide planning and decision making.
  • Partner with senior leaders, Finance, People & Culture and Business Intelligence to build workforce planning capability and process maturity 
  • Design workforce dashboards, facilitate planning workshops and improve how resources are planned, used and deployed. 

Skills & Experience 

  • Significant experience in strategic workforce planning and analytics within a complex organisation. 
  • Strong capability with workforce analytics tools and platforms, including Power BI, Excel and HRIS systems. 
  • Proven ability to turn data into clear insights and influence senior stakeholders across functions. 
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and practical understanding of workforce categories, including employees, contractors and volunteers.
