About the Opportunity
Due to growth in our team, we are looking for experienced, motivated, and passionate People and Culture Advisors to come join us in making a difference to people’s lives.
Reporting to the P&C Business Partner, the P&C Advisor will provide efficient support and advice to employees, managers, and other internal stakeholders as well as perform HR generalist activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day ER advice, supporting and coaching managers through employment matters and making recommendations.
- Interpretation and implementation of Modern Awards, and sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act
- Conducting Workplace investigations with a solid understanding of procedural fairness
- Assisting and supporting line managers with the management of staff performance, demonstrating outstanding judgement and initiative
- Developing and providing reporting and recommendations on P&C initiatives
- Assist with delivering the HR activities to the highest standard
About You
- Demonstrated ER/IR advisory experience, preferably in a service sector (disability, aged care or health would be advantageous)
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- A quick, enthusiastic, solution-focused and people-centric approach to issues
- Highly organised and able to work effectively under competing time pressures (no two days will be the same!)
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- High proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, and excellent computer skills
- Self-directed and self-motivated
- Understanding of employment legislation and wanting to learn more
- A desire to collaborate with an incredible team of people across a business that genuinely cares
