This is a great opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified regulatory reporting specialist to join a high performing Finance team within a leading bank.
You will have a proven track record of improving process, redesigning reporting guidelines and managing a variety of competing demands and stakeholders.
Responsibilities;
· Support the Senior Finance Manager to oversee the regulatory reporting governance framework for the Bank and its operating subsidiaries and the documentation of key processes.
· Prepare and lodge APRA monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting via APRA D2A and APRA Connect.
· Monitor timely and complete submissions for each period end and report on any resubmissions or breaches to management.
· Assist the CFO / CRO / Senior Manager in preparing the Bank’s ICAAP and stress testing obligations and monitoring of the Bank’s capital position.
· Implement changes to regulatory reporting (changes to Prudential Standards or changes to the applicability to the Bank) as required, in conjunction with consultation with the Senior Finance Manager and the Risk team.
-Support key deliverables on Finance Transformation Projects
Requirements;
- CA / CPA qualified
- 3+ years direct experience within a bank with direct exposure to Australian regulatory reporting / APRA guidelines
- The ability to work in a professional team and manage competing demands from a range of finance and non-finance stakeholders
- High analytical ability and communication skills to clearly articulate project needs from a finance stand point to internal and external stakeholders both locally, regionally and internationally
- Experience contributing to project deliverables
- Full Australian working rights & fluent English skills
- Knowledge of Financial Markets / Institutional lending products would be viewed favourably
