All about your role:
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Village Manager to take operational ownership of our remote mining village in South Australia. Operating on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Adelaide, you will lead site operations, maintain top-tier client relationships, and ensure our residents enjoy a clean, welcoming "home away from home."
What this role involves:
- Oversee daily village catering, accommodation, and contracted site services.
- Manage accommodation reservation platforms (VAMS, SAMS, or RMS).
- Lead, coach, and foster a strong safety culture among site staff.
- Take full P&L responsibility with a sharp focus on labor overheads and food costs.
- Act as the key on-site liaison to maintain exceptional client relationships.
All about you:
- Stable management experience in remote site operations or large-scale hospitality.
- Proven background managing site P&L, food costs, and rostered labor.
- Proficiency in accommodation reservation software (VAMS, SAMS, RMS, or similar).
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (highly desirable).
- Current Manual Driver's License (preferred) and Forklift ticket (desirable).
- Strong computer literacy, resilience, and physical fitness for remote site environments.
