Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Dash Group is on the hunt for a driven, sales-focused Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in the heart of the CBD. We’re a fast-paced agency specialising in labour hire across construction, civil, and trades – and we’re expanding.
 

What’s the role? This is a trainee recruitment role. Initially you will focus on candidate attraction and quickly be promoted into a full 360 recruitment role with a strong focus on business development. You’ll be sourcing top-quality candidates and placing them into short-term and ongoing labour hire roles and eventually building and managing your own client base.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Posting job ads and screening candidates
• Conducting interviews and reference checks
• Managing placements from start to finish
• Working closely with our payroll and compliance team
• Hitting weekly KPIs and driving your own success
• Making outbound sales calls and visiting construction sites
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a fast-paced or sales environment (recruitment, trades, construction supply, restaurant industry etc.)
• A confident communicator who’s not afraid to pick up the phone or knock on-site doors
• Motivated, results-focused and resilient
• Ability to manage a fast-paced workload with competing priorities
• Industry knowledge is a bonus – but not essential if you’re a quick learner
