Contract Administrator Role Head Contractor - 12-Month Contract +

Your new company
My client is a highly respected contractor within the Melbourne area, working across multiple sectors such as industrial, commercial and retail starting at design and then managing the project all the way through to post construction. In particular, on this project, you will be working on the construction of a shopping centre in Glen Waverley.They are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join the team on a long-term contract basis working on a high-value commercial build project.

Your new role
You will be working as a Contracts Administrator, which involves the duties below:

  • End to end subcontract and supplier procurement, including tendering, assessment and award
  • Subcontractor due diligence across financials, compliance, safety and performance
  • Project start-up activities including budgets, systems setup, documentation and risk planning
  • Administration of head contract, including progress claims, variations, EOTs and client liaison.
  • Subcontract administration including payments, claims, variations and contract compliance
  • Financial management, including cost tracking, reporting and monthly project reporting.
  • Supplier and invoice management, cost reconciliation and purchase order control
  • Maintaining project records, filing systems and document control processes
  • Supporting audits, insurance compliance and project close-out activities

What you'll need to succeed
My client is specifically looking for experience working on Procore and Jobpac systems. You will be supporting the Senior Contract Administrator, and you will need to have around 5 years experience working in the Commercial or Industrial sectors. You will also have strong communication skills and be a confident individual who is able to manage stakeholders throughout the process. Culture wise, they are looking for individuals to get stuck in, job titles dont mean anything, everyone lends a hand.You will also need to be able to get started within the next 4 weeks and be available to see out the long duration of the contract.
