The Role
Penrith Toyota is looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Service Receptionist to join our busy Service Department.
As one of the first people our customers interact with when they visit or contact our Service Department, you'll play an important role in making sure every customer feels welcomed, valued and looked after.
Working closely with our Service Advisors and wider Service team, you'll assist with customer enquiries, service bookings and general administration while helping keep the day-to-day operation of the department running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers to our Service Department in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with customer enquiries
- Schedule and manage customer service bookings
- Assist customers with check-in and direct them to the appropriate Service Advisor
- Support the Service Advisor team with general administration and customer communication
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information within our dealership systems
- Assist with appointment confirmations and follow-up communication
- Help maintain a professional and welcoming reception and customer lounge area
- Work closely with the wider Service team to deliver a seamless customer experience
What we're looking for:
- A genuine people-person with a strong customer-first mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, professional and confident phone manner
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain organised in a busy environment
- Confidence using computers and digital systems
- Previous reception, administration or customer service experience
- Automotive or dealership experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
