We are currently seeking a Professional Waiter to join our team.

Some of the duties you will be required to perform include:

  • Setting and arranging tables
  • Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
  • Recommending dishes and wines to complement food (particularly in fine-dining establishments)
  • Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
  • Serving food and beverages
  • Opening bottles and pouring beverages including mixing liquor and assisting in the cellar
  • Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen; removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
  • Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers.
  • To meet operational goals (KPI's) and work within agreed systems, policies, procedures and authority levels
  • To meet customer and client satisfaction, with your demeanour and knowledge of product offered, thus assisting in the development of the client base consequently improving costs and raising revenue
  • To ensure your relationships with staff are maintained at a positive level therefore enabling the integrity and culture of the business to be protected, thus investing in its growth
  • To ensure that the upkeep of the venue is at all times at the highest level and to report otherwise
  • Ensure wastage is minimised
  • To follow safe work practices and guidelines ensuring that your workspace is compliant to relevant laws and regulations and report otherwise

Applicants must have at least 1.5 year's of full time work experience in a premium dining environment.

Work Location - Based in Sydney, NSW with opportunities across various Grand Pacific Group venues.

A salary of $79,500 - $88,000 plus super will be offered the the successful applicant.
