The Organisation
Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and Coopers Stadium, in addition to functions and events at The Drive.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced ICT professional to lead a small team and provide support for the Corporation in all aspects of ICT.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Technical Services Lead is a technical expert that is a mentor, and a facilitator, helping the IT team navigate challenges, ensuring the successful completion of projects, tasks, and overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the IT Team to achieve efficient outcomes
- Provide technical guidance and support to the IT Team and assist with removing technical roadblocks
- Providing telephone and customer-facing IT support
- Managing support requests in the IT service desk ticketing system
- Testing and deploy updates to software, servers, and hardware
Skills you will bring to the role
- Experience in a role delivering IT services and team, ideally in a medium to large business environment.
- High level of diverse IT skills, knowledge and experience
- Strong methodical approach to problem solving
- Ability to positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organisation.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience supporting hybrid identity and on-premises Active Directory integration
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and endpoint management
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting switching and routing in a multi-site environment
