Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Routine analysis of raw materials and finished products by GC & ICP
- Review analytical data
- Perform out of specification investigations
- Data entry
- General laboratory housekeeping
- Maintaining consumable item stock levels
To be successful, we are looking for the following:
- 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role
- A formal qualification in chemistry or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience in the use of data management software Agilent OpenLab CDS (2.6) software to run a sequence, launch data analysis, process/review data and proficiency in creating custom calculations in the custom calculator.
- Ideally, the successful candidate should have GMP/GLP experience and worked with the Agilent 7697a Headspace or similar, 8890/7890 GC or similar and 5977B single quadrupole MSD or similar.
- Strong attention to detail
- A clear understanding of chemical safety
- A clear understanding of good laboratory practices
- The ability to work both autonomously and in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- A working knowledge of standard office applications such as MS Word and Excel
It will also be beneficial, but not essential, for you to have
