Join a newly established Performance team within a Federal Government agency and play a key role supporting employee relations, performance and workplace conduct matters.
Applicants with a minimum of three years' experience in a federal government performance, conduct, integrity or employee relations environment will be highly regarded.
The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced APS HR professional to provide expert advice and support across complex people matters while contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies, processes and frameworks.Key Responsibilities
- Manage performance, conduct and workplace behaviour matters
- Provide advice and coaching to managers on employee relations issues
- Support complaints handling and case management activities
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures and guidance materials
- Prepare case documentation, correspondence and recommendations
- Promote consistent and compliant people management practices
About YouTo be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Experience managing complex HR casework within the APS
- Strong employee relations, performance and conduct experience
- The ability to coach and influence managers through sensitive matters
- Experience developing or implementing HR policies, procedures or frameworks
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A current Baseline Security Clearance
