The Department
We have a great opportunity for an Administrative Support / Database Support in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at The Alfred.
The Role
This position supports our Cystic Fibrosis Service. The focus of the role is database work, however, you will also support our CF outpatient clinics, with duties including clinic preparation, creating follow up appointments, collation of patient results, checking patients in, as well as other administrative duties as required.
Experience and Skills Required
- Strong organisational skills are required, as is the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellence in written and oral communication
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working in a medical environment and familiarity with medical terminology will be highly regarded, however applicants with strong administrative skills from other fields will also be considered.
