Your new company
Hays is partnering with a growing Australian defence and aerospace organisation delivering advanced capabilities to government and defence customers. Based in Adelaide, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and is seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller to support the effective management of critical project and engineering documentation.
Your new role
As the Document Controller, you will support engineering and project teams by maintaining document registers, managing version control, coordinating document workflows and ensuring compliance with document management processes. Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you will help ensure project documentation is accurate, controlled and readily accessible throughout the project life cycle. This is a hands-on position suited to someone looking to build their career within a defence-focused environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in document control, records management, project administration or a similar discipline
- Exposure to document management systems such as SharePoint, Aconex, TeamBinder or similar
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage documentation, registers and version control processes accurately
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and project teams
- Defence, engineering, manufacturing, construction or project-based experience will be highly regarded
- Current Defence security clearance (NV1 or above) or eligibility to obtain one is desirable
