Your new company
The Facilities Manager supports a large campus in Fremantle on a full-time basis. The position will manage the services at the relevant campus, such as grounds maintenance, cleaning, fleet management, parking, security, as part of the core day-to-day activities of the area. The position is required to be available for out-of-standard hours' facility issues, data management, security incident response and move management, department administration, services/help desk management & customer satisfaction, workplace health & safety, and quality management.
Your new role
What you'll need to succeed
- Completion of a tertiary qualification relevant to the field of facilities management and substantial relevant experience in the field of facilities, or an equivalent of both.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of contract management and contact administration.
- Demonstrated expertise and ability to manage external service providers and contracts within allocated budgets and timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee a customer-focused and collaborative facilities' management team and provide input into relevant processes for improvements
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Proven ability to manage and develop others, resolve conflicts appropriately and foster a positive and safe work environment to support a team to achieve targets.
