Green Light Australia are partnering with a leading company to engage HR Officer to play a key part in coordinating performance management activities, supporting leaders through annual review and calibration processes, providing HR advice to business stakeholders, and assisting with recruitment and employee relations matters.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident working with HR systems, and capable of building strong relationships with managers across corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities
Performance Management

  • Support the delivery of the annual performance review cycle.
  • Coordinate performance review activities and key milestones.
  • Assist with performance calibration sessions and documentation.
  • Generate reports and provide performance-related insights to leaders and HR stakeholders.
  • Respond to employee and manager queries regarding performance processes and timelines.
  • Ensure performance records are maintained accurately within the HR system.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain and update employee information within SuccessFactors or a similar HCM platform.
  • Support managers and employees with system-related queries.
  • Run standard and ad hoc reports for People & Culture and business leaders.
  • Monitor completion rates and provide regular status updates throughout performance review periods.

Stakeholder Support & Communications

  • Act as a key point of contact for HR process and policy queries.
  • Prepare and distribute communications relating to performance reviews, HR initiatives, policy updates, and people processes.
  • Build positive working relationships with stakeholders across functions including Finance, Legal, ICT, HSE, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Services.
  • Provide timely and practical support to managers on day-to-day HR matters.

Recruitment Support

  • Work closely with the internal recruitment team and hiring managers.
  • Assist with recruitment coordination and onboarding activities.
  • Respond to hiring manager enquiries and provide guidance on recruitment processes.
  • Support workforce planning discussions and talent acquisition activities where required.

Employee Relations Support

  • Provide first-level support on employee relations matters.
  • Assist with documentation and case management relating to performance, conduct and workplace concerns.
  • Escalate complex employee relations matters to senior HR team members as required.
  • Ensure HR records are maintained in line with company policies and compliance requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources Officer, People & Culture Officer, HR Coordinator or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting performance management processes.
  • Experience using SuccessFactors or another HRIS/HCM platform.
  • Strong administration, reporting and coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work with managers at varying levels.

Desirable

  • Exposure to calibration processes and annual performance review cycles.
  • Experience supporting recruitment activities.
  • Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
  • Exposure to employee relations case management.
  • Experience within mining, utilities, resources, infrastructure or large corporate environments.
