About the Opportunity:
We are looking a driven Commis Chef to join our fun, supportive team to deliver the best dining experience for our guests. You will be driven and genuinely passionate about cooking. This is an amazing opportunity to start your culinary journey. You will be a passionate and a highly energetic hospitality professional.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to effectively follow instructions and absorb new information
- Italian cuisine experience highly regarded
- Use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
- Foundation knife skills and understanding of basic cookery terms and techniques
- Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
- Calm and composed demeanour
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
- Willing to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
