A well-established food manufacturing company is looking for a QA Assistant to support its Quality team. You'll play a hands-on role in maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance standards within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory and quality testing on raw materials and finished products
- Ensure products comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate QA documentation, records, and reports
- Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective and preventive actions
- Liaise with Production, Sanitation, and other departments on quality matters
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Support training of operators on Hygiene, GMP, and HACCP
- Assist with new product development and quality procedure improvements
- Carry out additional QA-related duties as required
About You
- Essential: Strong hands-on microbiology and laboratory experience within a food manufacturing or quality environment
- Practical experience performing food quality and compliance testing
- Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with Production and Quality teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
