Based at our Head Office in Richmond, the Commercial Sales Analyst will responsible for supporting the Commercial Sales Team on a range of analytical, reporting, compliance and business advisory matters. This is a 6 month fixed term contract.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Drive commercial results through the preparation of profitable business cases, supporting Sales with new business opportunities and customer retention.
- Support the management of existing customer contracts and development of new customer contracts that balance risk with commercial sustainability. Strong understanding of commercial frameworks.
- Provide insight on portfolio financial performance through the provision of value-added data analysis of sales revenue, cost drivers, volume and margin, including monthly forecasting.
- Translate complex data into recommendations that enable effective decision making by senior stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across business functions of Sales, Legal, Operations and Finance.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Recognised tertiary qualification in a commercial stream ( Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business) and can demonstrate an ongoing commitment to learning and personal development.
- CPA or ACCA preferred by not essential
- Experience in SAP or any other ERP system
- High attention to detail, excellent time management and result driven.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement
