A well‑regarded national firm is seeking a Senior Associate Employment Lawyer to join its Employment, Workplace Relations & Safety team, working closely with education sector and not‑for‑profit clients.
This team is known for delivering practical, strategic and sector‑specific advice across the full spectrum of employment and workplace relations issues. You’ll support schools, education providers, charities and community organisations with clear guidance on workplace obligations, risk, compliance and dispute management.
The Role
- Advise education and NFP clients on employment, workplace relations and safety matters
- Draft policies, contracts, investigation reports and advisory documents
- Manage workplace investigations, performance and conduct issues, discrimination matters and WHS concerns
- Assist clients with disputes, disciplinary processes, terminations and risk management
- Work alongside senior practitioners and contribute to sector‑focused insights
- Mentor junior lawyers and support the continued growth of the practice
You
- A Senior Associate (or strong Associate ready to step up) with solid employment law experience
- Confident advising on complex workplace issues with clarity and practicality
- Experience with education or NFP clients is ideal, or a strong interest in these sectors
- Excellent drafting skills and a client‑centred, collaborative approach
- Able to build trusted relationships with sophisticated sector clients
