About the role
Join a busy electrical workshop near Brisbane Airport building and wiring industrial switchboards. This is a hands-on role suited to qualified overseas electricians and experienced electrical trade assistants with a strong switchboard or industrial background.
This role is NOT suitable for inexperienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire modular industrial switchboards
- Install breakers, relays, busbars and electrical components
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Complete testing, fault finding and quality checks
- Work to Australian Standards and workshop safety requirements
Qualifications/Experience required
- Switchboard, switchgear or control wiring experience
- Experienced electrical trade assistant background
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong industrial or switchboard manufacturing background
- High attention to detail and safety focus
