Wangara, WA | Full-Time Permanent | Building and Trade Industry

CrewSELECT is seeking an experienced Construction Administrator on behalf of an established steel framing business based in Wangara.

This position is ideal for a highly organised administrator with experience in project coordination, scheduling or construction administration within the building, construction or trade industry. You will support projects from award through to completion, coordinating information between clients, suppliers, production teams and installation contractors.

The Role

  • Coordinate projects from initial handover through to practical completion.
  • Maintain project files, drawings, approvals, certifications and site documentation.
  • Monitor project milestones, construction programs and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate handovers between sales, detailing, production and installation teams.
  • Distribute approved drawings and installation documentation.
  • Manage RFIs, design clarifications and site change requests.
  • Confirm site access, readiness and delivery requirements.
  • Communicate scheduling changes, project delays and critical issues.
  • Coordinate completion inspections, sign-offs and client handover packs.
  • Act as a key administrative contact for clients throughout each project.
  • Raise purchase orders and follow up supplier delivery dates.
  • Monitor supplier lead times and assist with invoice discrepancies.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with general office administration.
  • Support the development of internal procedures and process documentation.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in construction administration, project coordination, scheduling or project support.
  • Experience within the building, construction, steel or trade industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Xero, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Experience managing project documentation, purchase orders and delivery schedules.
  • Excellent communication and client-service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers, tradespeople and internal departments.
  • A proactive approach to identifying delays and following up outstanding information.
