CrewSELECT is currently seeking an experienced Workshop Trades Assistant to join a busy workshop team in Loganholme. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong workshop experience looking for stable, ongoing work with consistent hours.
About the Role
Working within a fast-paced workshop environment, you will be assisting tradesmen with general workshop duties including grinding, cutting, drilling, and use of hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Grinding, cutting, and drilling of materials
- Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assisting tradesmen with day-to-day workshop duties
- General workshop housekeeping and maintaining safe work areas
- Moving materials and assisting with workshop operations
- Following all workplace safety procedures and standards
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience within a workshop environment
- Experience using grinders, drills, cutting equipment, and hand tools
- Strong understanding of workshop safety procedures
- Forklift ticket required
- Overhead crane experience/ticket highly regarded but not essential
- Reliable work ethic and ability to work within a team
