We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our team. If you’re passionate about great coffee, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy creating positive guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
As a Barista, you’ll play an important role in delivering high-quality coffee and exceptional service to our guests. You’ll be responsible for managing the coffee station, preparing consistently excellent beverages, and supporting the wider café team during busy service periods.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and takes pride in quality, consistency, and great service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consistently high-quality espresso coffee and a range of hot and cold beverages
- Maintain excellent coffee quality, presentation, and consistency during busy service periods
- Provide friendly and professional customer service with every interaction
- Take customer orders accurately through POS and ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient coffee station
- Monitor coffee supplies, milk stock, and café inventory levels
- Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and Front of House teams
- Support general café operations as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous Barista experience in a busy café or hospitality environment
- Has strong knowledge of espresso coffee preparation and beverage service
- Is passionate about coffee and delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Can multitask and remain calm during busy service periods
- Is reliable, punctual, and brings a positive attitude
- Has confidence using POS systems and handling customer orders
- Is available to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a current Food Handler Certificate
