The Opportunity
Our client’s venue is a staple of Geelong’s pub scene—a popular local hub for after-work catch-ups, classic pub dining, and live sports.
We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager who excels in a bustling environment and knows how to drive food, beverage, and event revenue while maintaining a strong local culture.
As a hands-on front-of-house leader, you will balance floor presence with strategic venue management. You'll be as active on the floor during peak service as you are managing P&L targets, labour scheduling, and key relationships.
The business enjoys reliable year-round trade, boosted by high-volume weekends, public holiday trading, and a busy summer period.
This role offers full operational ownership of an established, highly respected Geelong venue.
The Candidate
- A minimum of 2 years’ Venue Manager experience in pubs, taverns, or multi-departmental venues is essential.
- A confident, charismatic communicator who can build rapport on the floor and motivate a fast-moving team.
- A dedicated hospitality professional who takes pride in service execution and isn't afraid to bring new ideas to the table.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams of 20+ staff is preferred, though individual drive and potential are key.
