About the Role
As the Corporate Receptionist & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for clients and visitors while supporting the planning and delivery of internal and external corporate events.
This position requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front of House
- Welcome clients, visitors and contractors with a warm, professional approach.
- Manage the reception area to ensure it remains clean, organised and presentable.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and maintain conference room schedules.
- Notify employees of visitor arrivals and maintain accurate visitor records.
- Answer and direct incoming enquiries professionally.
- Coordinate meeting room set-up and catering requirements.
- Ensure a seamless front-of-house experience for all guests.
Corporate Events & Meetings
- Coordinate internal meetings, client functions and corporate events.
- Manage event invitations, RSVPs and attendee communications.
- Prepare event materials including name badges, attendee lists and place cards.
- Coordinate catering, room set-up and event logistics.
- Maintain event supplies including catering items, glassware, crockery and promotional materials.
- Manage merchandise ordering, stock control and distribution.
- Maintain internal event platforms and promotional materials, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
- Provide administrative support throughout the event planning process.
Administration
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Assist with general office administration as required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ensure all activities are delivered in line with company policies, procedures and professional standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a corporate reception, front-of-house or customer service role.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events or corporate functions (highly regarded).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
