The Strand Hotel Yeppoon is looking for a new Assistant Venue Manager to join the management team as we get ready for another amazing Summer in Yeppoon.

The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

Essential requirements:
- 2+ years in a management role in a similar venue
- Experience working in a gaming venue
- Strong Food & Beverage knowledge
- Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
- Ability to stocktake and investigate the stock loss
- Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
- Work with and communicate effectively within a team
- Experience with H&L, Ivy & Seven rooms desirable
- RLMV & Approved Managers License
