About the Role
As an AO5 Business Support Officer, you will provide high-level business and administrative support to a busy recruitment team within a Queensland Government environment.
You will coordinate a range of administrative processes, manage competing priorities, prepare documentation, maintain accurate records and provide responsive support to internal and external stakeholders. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, comfortable working across multiple systems and confident independently progressing tasks through established processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative and business support to a busy recruitment team.
- Coordinate multiple workflows, priorities and deadlines, ensuring tasks are progressed accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, correspondence, records and information across departmental systems.
- Manage a busy shared mailbox, coordinating requests, follow-ups and required actions.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide responsive and professional support.
- Follow established policies and procedures, using initiative to resolve routine issues and escalate matters where required.
About You:
- Previous experience providing high-level administration, business support or coordination within a complex organisation.
- Previous Queensland Government experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and follow established processes.
- Experience working within process-driven or compliance-focused environments would be advantageous.
