We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our maintenance team and oversee the efficient operation of our workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who is committed to safety, quality workmanship, and delivering outstanding results.
As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day workshop activities, managing personnel, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise workshop staff
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance and repair activities
- Monitor workshop productivity and performance
- Manage parts, inventory, and workshop resources
- Liaise with operations and other stakeholders to ensure equipment availability and reliability
About You
- Previous experience in a Workshop Manager, Leading Hand, or Supervisory role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
- Sound mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Qualifications
- Trade Qualification preferred
- Relevant supervisory or management training highly regarded
- Experience within mining, heavy industry, transport
