- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, sterilisation and infection control.
- Supporting the coordination of daily surgical procedures to ensure safe and efficient patient flow.
- Providing compassionate care and handling of animals throughout their surgical journey.
- Working collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary nurses and volunteers to maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology, with previous experience in a veterinary nursing role.
- Has practical experience in surgical nursing, anaesthesia and patient monitoring.
- Is confident working in a busy, fast-paced veterinary environment.
- Has excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Is adaptable, proactive and eager to develop their skills in a specialised surgical environment.
- Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Communicates professionally and compassionately with colleagues and clients.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to animal welfare, patient safety and high-quality veterinary care.
