The Job Role
Cooma Crash Repairs / Jindabyne Crash Repairs is seeking expression of interest from hardworking dedicated Vehicle Painters to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Masking, sanding, buffing, and detailing
- Application and blocking of filler and primers
- Metal preparation for paint
- Spray painting
- Prime and topcoat
- Colour matching
- Mixing paints to the right colour and consistency
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment
- Storing paints in the correct conditions
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience - essential.
- Must be able to perform repairs to large, medium and small crash work with attention to detail
- Keen eye to detail
- Adhere to all work, health and safety policies/procedures
- Experience in a variety of practices and techniques related to Masking, sanding, buffing, and detailing
- Knowledge of operating general paint / blast shop equipment and tools
- Great team player
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
