Your new role:
As the Transport Operations Support Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end transport administration function, leading a national team while driving accuracy, process improvement and commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing transport administration teams, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Standardising processes and implementing best-practice frameworks across the business
- Overseeing invoicing, billing accuracy, reconciliations and revenue integrity controls
- Managing customer, subcontractor and pricing setup within the Freight Management System
- Developing reporting, dashboards and KPIs to support business decisions
- Identifying and implementing automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Partnering with Operations and Finance teams to improve workflows, compliance and customer outcomes
- Reviewing rates, margins and commercial performance to protect profitability
- Managing supplier relationships and supporting cost control initiatives
- Supporting credit risk management activities through customer credit monitoring and reporting systems
What youll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a senior transport, logistics or fleet administration leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Freight Management Systems and transport administration processes
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or national teams
- Strong commercial acumen and a focus on revenue protection and operational efficiency
- Proven track record in process improvement, automation and systems enhancement
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A hands on leadership style with the ability to influence and drive change
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
