Our client is a large general insurer offering Retail Motor Vehicle Insurance and Commercial Insurance throughout Australia. They are embarking on a strategic enterprise-wide digital transformation program to modernize their core insurance technology landscape.
About the role
The Training Lead has a key role to play in the insurance transformation program delivery by operationalising the Guidewire strategy through translating curriculum into high quality learning experiences, embedding real delivery patterns, standards, and platform learnings into training. This role will directly contribute to reducing dependency on external suppliers by accelerating internal capability depth at scale.
What's Required
The Training Lead needs to be solutions focused, hands on and happy to get involved to meet our tight deadlines and support people to upskill and feel confident in using Guidewire.
More specifically they will have the following skills and experience:
Essential:
- 3+ years of experience in Guidewire (or Duck Creek) training delivery
- A genuine passion to deliver high quality and engaging training content
- Agile, hands on and deadline driven.
- Strong hands-on experience in one or more:
- Guidewire projects
- Insurance operations
- Proven ability to explain complex concepts clearly and coach learners effectively
- Experience delivering structured training, enablement, or knowledge transfer programmes
- Strong understanding of role-based skill development across the delivery lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile/Waterfall delivery environments.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in insurance.
