Trainer and Assessor - Hospitality (Barista and Housekeeping) - Cairns 

• Open to Casual or Part Time Employment 

• Deliver Short Courses (5-day blocks) designed to support people with the skills needed for employment

• Roster given in advance

About you

• Willingness to travel to other sites within the Cairns region 

• An inclusive and supportive approach to people

• Be a driven, supportive and community minded person

• Able to work with a range of learners to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning

• Experience in delivering work ready skills and digital literacy training 

• Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area

• Ability to identify barriers to learning to support student attendance

VET

• Appropriate Industry qualification such as Certificate II in Hospitality or higher with completed units SITHFAB005 Prepare and serve espresso coffee and SITHACS003 Prepare rooms for guests

• Relevant qualifications and industry currency within the last 12 months 

• Must hold a current up to date TAE40116 including TAELLN411 or TAE 401A and TAEASS502 or 502A or 502B
