Job Description
- Develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test plans.
- Design and document test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.
- Ensure complete test coverage through requirements traceability.
- Execute functional, system and integration testing activities.
- Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution.
- Assess testing outcomes and provide quality recommendations.
- Apply established testing standards, methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and system functionality.
- Support Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) testing practices through the development of test scripts and test cases
The Successful Applicant
A successful Test Analyst should have:
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst within complex application or project environments.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience developing and executing both manual and automated tests.
- Strong test planning, execution and reporting capabilities.
- Experience ensuring test coverage and requirements traceability.
- Defect management and quality assurance experience.
Hands-on experience with:
- Azure DevOps
- Atlassian Jira
- Experience writing BDD test scripts and test cases.
- Ability to quickly understand business processes, applications and system functionality.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
