Tax Accountant

Full time/Part time Position available with flexible working hours (for part time position).

Key duties and responsibilities:

1. Preparation and review of Activity Statements
2. Preparation and review of Financial Statements
3. Preparation and review of all types of Income Tax Returns
4. Preparation of other tax related matters such as FBT and CGT
5. Liaising with ATO and other government bodies for and on behalf of clients, including preparation of written correspondence to the ATO and other bodies when required
6. Undertake general tax / accounting related research tasks
7. Experience with BGL360 preferable but not necessary
8. Management of workflow and coordinating jobs to meet deadlines, including assisting the team with overflow when necessary
9. Supervise and assist other team members including job reviews and finalisations within required deadlines
10. Monitoring lodgement program to ensure ATO lodgement dates are met for income tax, activity statements, STP, TPAR, etc
11. Report directly to Management
