- Location: Smithfield | Hybrid (2 days working from home)
- 2-year fixed-term contract with a strong possibility of extension or permanency.

Join a busy Talent Acquisition team supporting one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects. As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment, partner with Hiring Managers, develop sourcing strategies and deliver an exceptional candidate experience across national and international hiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Hiring Managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment across the Snowy 2.0 project.
- Manage national and international recruitment campaigns from sourcing through to offer.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and industry networks.
- Create job advertisements, screen applications and manage candidate shortlisting.
- Conduct structured interviews and active sourcing to attract high-quality talent.
- Build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders, ensuring a positive recruitment experience.
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools and employer branding initiatives.
- Occasional travel to Cooma to build relationships with Hiring Managers and support recruitment needs.
About you
This is a busy, high-volume role with a strong focus on administration and coordination, requiring a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to support wherever needed.
- Experience in internal recruitment, within Construction, Engineering, Infrastructure or a project-based environment.
- Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruitment channels.
- Confident managing the full recruitment process, including interviews.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
- Proactive, collaborative and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- HR or related qualifications are advantageous
- Able to commute to the Smithfield office by car and travel to Cooma occasionaly with the HR team

About the Project
Snowy 2.0 is the next generation of the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, and construction of this major pumped hydro project is well underway. Once complete, the Scheme will provide 2000 megawatts of dispatchable, on-demand renewable power and approximately 350,000 megawatt hours of large-scale energy storage to the Australian National Electricity Market.
