Your new role
As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating and validating complex software-centric systems across multiple platforms. You will work closely with systems, infrastructure, software, and testing teams to ensure seamless integration activities, identify issues early, and support successful project delivery.Key responsibilities include:
- Integrating and testing software releases across systems and subsystems.
- Building and maintaining integration and test environments.
- Supporting system validation, acceptance testing, and project milestones.
- Investigating and resolving complex technical and integration issues.
- Developing automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Contributing to risk management, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced professional, youll need to have excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will also bring:
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience integrating complex software-based systems.
- Strong Linux/UNIX and Windows administration experience.
- Experience with virtualised environments and VMware.
- Hands-on scripting expertise using Python, Shell, and XML.
- Exposure to DevOps and automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket and Jira.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including Active Directory, LDAP, and PKI.
- Strong networking knowledge across TCP/IP, UDP, and SNMP.
- Experience using diagnostic and monitoring tools such as Wireshark and Zabbix.
- Ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
