About the Role

Big Ben Specialty Foods is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to support the effective management and continuous improvement of our supply chain, inventory and distribution operations.

The successful candidate will analyse supply chain and inventory information, identify operational issues and opportunities for improvement, and assist in developing and implementing practical solutions to improve efficiency across our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyse supply chain, inventory and distribution data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and stock movements, investigate discrepancies and prepare reports to support effective inventory management.
  3. Review supply chain, warehouse and distribution processes and recommend improvements to procedures and workflows.
  4. Identify potential supply chain and operational risks and assist in developing practical solutions to minimise disruptions.
  5. Assist with implementing and monitoring improvements across inventory, logistics and distribution operations.
  6. Liaise with internal teams to support supply chain planning, inventory management and operational efficiency.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  1. Relevant qualifications in supply chain, logistics, business, management or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of 12 months' demonstrated experience in supply chain or logistics operations involving inventory, supply chain or logistics analysis.
  3. Experience using inventory management, ERP and/or supply chain reporting systems.
  4. Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  5. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with operational and management teams.
  6. Experience within a warehouse, distribution, FMCG, wholesale or similar supply chain environment will be highly regarded.
