Role Opportunity
Experienced Structural Designer with Advance Steel software experience to join a well regarded local engineering consultant specialising in providing structural and mechanical solutions across diverse resource and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience as a Structural Designer within mining, minerals processing, resources, or heavy industrial environments.
- Proficient with structural design and modelling software such as Advance Steel, Navisworks Manage, and Autocad
- Experience producing structural steel and reinforced concrete design documentation.
- Good understanding of mining clients drawing requirements including CAD Conformance
- Ability to work collaboratively within a consulting engineering environment and manage multiple project priorities.
- Excellent team skills and communication
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural design and drafting deliverables for mining and heavy industrial projects.
- Produce 3D models, general arrangements, detailed drawings, and construction packages.
- Coordinate closely with Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Designers
- Support brownfield site upgrades, equipment replacements, remediation works, and plant modifications.
- Participate in design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination, and constructability assessments.
- Ensure deliverables are produced in accordance with client specifications, Australian Standards, and project requirements.
