    About the role:

    We are looking for motivated, client centric, outcome focussed Senior Speech Pathologist to join our expanding Melbourne team in a Team Leader role

    • You will be provided a work life balance. This is not optional
    • It is desirable to understand and be able to administer/interpret a variety of psychometric/objective screening tools
    • Conduct comprehensive health and injury assessments
    • Assess and treat clients to carry out community-based rehabilitation programs to improve functional independence and quality of life
    • Opportunity to work across all age groups from 0 to 65 years
    • Provide evidence based clinical services to participants living with disability and/or chronic complex conditions
    • It is desirable to have a good level of commercial acumen and understand the key drivers behind referral trends. Providing quality customer service to all stakeholders is essential to be successful for this role

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
    • Current registration with SPA
    • NDIS experience and understanding is highly preferable however as long as you have clinical experience, this is key
    • A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential
    • Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships with a variety of stakeholders and be able to demonstrate and validate repeat referral sources
    • A high level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution
    • Current driver's licence and registered vehicle
    • Working with Children Check
    • Other qualification specific to disability will be highly regarded
