Company Overview:

Our client is currently undergoing an exciting brand refresh to evolve its market presence, across their physical stores and Ecommerce site. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative environment, within the fashion and retail sector.

Position Overview:

The Social Media Specialist will own and execute all organic social media activity, playing a key role in shaping brand presence, building community and driving engagement. This role works closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and deliver strategic social initiatives, including ambassador and influencer programmes.

This is a hands-on role combining strategy, content creation, analytics and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to define and execute the social media strategy, driving brand awareness and community growth
  • Plan, create and publish engaging content across platforms, including capturing and editing photo and video content
  • Manage day-to-day social activity including scheduling, posting and real-time community engagement
  • Build and nurture relationships with influencers, creators and brand ambassadors, including coordinating activations and events
  • Use analytics and insights to optimise performance, inform content decisions and report on ROI
  • Execute social campaigns end-to-end, ensuring alignment with broader marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams including design, digital and product to ensure cohesive brand storytelling
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy across social, digital campaigns and supporting content channels
  • Stay ahead of social trends and proactively identify opportunities to create relevant, timely content
  • Manage budgets and ensure all activity is delivered efficiently within allocated resources

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Approximately 3 years’ experience in social media or digital marketing roles, within a B2C environment
  • Experience within retail and fashion, highly regarded
  • Drivers licence with access to a car
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar (preferred)
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • Experience with social platforms, analytics tools, and content software (e.g. Adobe Suite, CapCut, Dash Social)
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute social strategies aligned to business goals
  • Experience managing budgets and campaign performance
  • A collaborative approach with experience working across marketing and creative teams
