Hays are currently recruiting 2 site managers, one north of the river and one south of the river, for a Tier 3 Main Builder who construct tilt-up projects.
Work with a reliable main contractor with an ongoing work pipeline and trusted subcontractors. No weekend or overtime work involved.
Projects:
- Fast food (KFC, Hungry Jacks, McDonald's etc.)
- Retail stores (BWS, 7-Eleven)
- Hospitality (Caf, bars)
- Childcare centres
- Gyms
- Service stations
Your new role
As a site manager, you will oversee the project from civil construction works through to client handover.
- Communicating with the project manager and contract administrators to ensure the smooth running of the project.
- Ensuring the project is on time and on budget.
- Overseeing subcontractors on site
- Health and safety on site
- Reporting
- Material management
- All other site management duties
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in commercial construction working for a main contractor on projects from civil to handover $1M+ in value
- Tilt up experience or knowledge of this construction method (will provide a tilt-up supervisor ticket for the right candidate)
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines (projects from 12 weeks in duration)
- Prior experience of building childcare centres, gyms, retail facilities, fast food, service stations or similar is an advantage
- Prior experience as a site manager or supervisor on commercial projects: 2+ years minimum
- Knowledge of NCC and WA safety standards
- Full working rights
