The Opportunity
An established Sydney-based luxury residential builder is looking for a Site Manager / Foreman to lead the delivery of a $8M+ custom new build in the Southern Highlands.
This is an opportunity to take the lead on a high-end architectural project with a builder that has an established presence and strong repeat business throughout the Southern Highlands.
You’ll have genuine ownership of the site, working with a high-calibre team of architects, consultants and specialist trades to deliver a premium home from the ground up.
The builder has a strong pipeline of luxury residential projects, so this role offers the opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that values quality, professionalism and its people.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project from construction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing subcontractors, trades and suppliers
- Coordinating the construction program and key milestones
- Maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail
- Working closely with the Project Manager, client, architects and consultants
- Managing site logistics, materials and sequencing
- Identifying and resolving construction issues
- Maintaining a safe, organised and professional site
- Ensuring the project is delivered to the highest possible standard
About You
We are ideally looking for someone with:
- 3-4+ years' experience running high-end custom residential projects
- Proven experience delivering custom homes from start to finish
- Experience on $6M+ residential projects highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology and sequencing
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of finish
- Strong communication and subcontractor management skills
- Experience working with architects, consultants and high-end clients
- Cert III in Carpentry
- Cert IV in Building & Construction advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to take genuine ownership of a project
