Our client is ahighly regarded commercial fit-out and refurbishment contractor with a strongreputation for delivering high-quality projects across Sydney. With a healthypipeline of secured work and repeat business from long-standing clients, theycontinue to grow within the commercial interiors market.
Their projects are predominantly commercial office fit-outs and refurbishments, typically ranging from $2M to $5M, with occasional projects reaching the $10M mark. They are nowseeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team and take ownership ofproject delivery across a range of high-profile commercial interiors projects.
Your new role
As Site Manager, youwill be responsible for the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuringprojects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standard ofquality.
You will overseecommercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from commencement through tohandover, working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, consultantsand clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
Experiencedelivering projects within occupied environments and managing refurbishmentworks will be highly regarded, while exposure to hospitality fit-out projectswould be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating all on-site subcontractors and trade
- Driving project programmes and ensuring milestones are achieved
- Managing site safety, compliance and quality assurance
- Coordinating works within live and occupied environments
- Monitoring project progress and reporting to the Project Manager
- Managing site logistics and daily operations
- Conducting subcontractor coordination meetings
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Identifying and resolving site issues proactively
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial fit-out projects
- Strong refurbishment experience across commercial interiors projects
- Experience delivering projects valued between $2M and $5M, with larger projects highly regarded
- Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management
- Experience working within live and occupied environments
- Hospitality fit-out project experience viewed favourably
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Trade background highly regarded
- Relevant WHS and site management certifications
