About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the construction process on site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project specifications
  • Coordinating with stakeholders — architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients — to keep projects on track
  • Managing subcontractors and vendors against project schedules and quality requirements
  • Monitoring budgets and costs, identifying issues and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Leading on-site teams across various sites, with some travel from time to time

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A trade background with the ability to coordinate and manage the construction process
  • A genuine willingness to stay on the tools and help out where needed — not for someone looking to get off the tools
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage on-site teams
  • A commitment to honesty, accountability, and pride in your work
  • Local to Toowoomba, with the flexibility to work across various sites (candidates must live locally)
