Currently seeking Casual Shift Operators for a 24/7 manufacturing plant in Dardanup, south of Bunbury. Join a leading Australian supplier of premium decorative surfaces with over 80 years in the industry. Roles are on a rotating 2-day, 2-night, 4-off shift schedule. Responsibilities include maintaining product supply to production lines, with opportunities to upskill as a multi-skilled process operator.
About your new role:
- Safe operation of forklifts with ugly loads
- Operate forklift to move product between storage and the plant
- Work within a team environment
- Identify maintenance issues with plant/equipment
- Willing to upskill across different plant/equipment through buddy system training.
About You:
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is desirable but not required.
- C Class driver's licence
- Current High-Risk license (Forklift)
- Experience with ugly loads is highly regarded
- Committed to a safe work environment and willing to promote safety within a team;
- Ability to work on a shift roster;
- Ability to work in a team or autonomously;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
