What You’ll Do:
Reporting to the Group Manager of Work Health and Safety, the Senior Work Health and Safety Business Partner plays a pivotal role in providing expert WHS advice while partnering with operational leaders to uplift risk management capability and drive continuous improvement across the business.
This is a hands-on, operational role supporting multi-site and remote operations nationally. You will lead WHS engagement and improvement initiatives, set high standards for WHS performance, consultation, investigations and risk management, and maintain strong, proactive connections with leaders across states.
What You Bring:
You’re a resilient, operationally focused WHS professional with strong experience across transport and warehousing environments. You’re confident managing multi-site and remote operations, maintaining proactive relationships with interstate leaders and staying connected.
You bring strong risk assessment and consultation skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively and drive practical safety outcomes. Comfortable in fast-paced, 24/7 operations, you partner closely with leaders to embed effective WHS practices that support the business.
Your background includes a WHS business partner or advisory role within transport, logistics or warehousing, supported by:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
Proven investigation capability (ICAM or similar)
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation across jurisdictions
Excellent stakeholder engagement and prioritisation skills
Willingness to travel as required
