We are seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in the heart of Fortitude Valley. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated planning professional looking to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments across Queensland.
You'll be joining a collaborative and highly regarded team that values innovation, professional development and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

The Role As a Senior Town Planner, you will:

  • Manage a variety of development applications and planning projects from inception through to approval.
  • Provide strategic planning advice to clients across the private sector.
  • Liaise with local authorities, government agencies and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality planning reports, submissions and due diligence assessments.
  • Mentor and support junior planners within the team.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

About You To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • A degree qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years' town planning experience within a consultancy, developer or local government environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland planning legislation and development assessment processes.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) is desirable.
