Senior Security Technician - Integration Spealist

About the Client & Role

I am currently partnering with a premier, high-tier security systems integrator known for delivering complex enterprise projects across critical infrastructure, data centers, high-rise commercial assets, and government facilities.
They are looking for a Senior Security Systems Specialist who operates beyond standard field hardware installations. This role is strictly focused on high-level commissioning, system architecture, database administration, and multi-platform software integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Commissioning & Software Deployment: Build, configure, and commission enterprise access control platforms, virtual servers (VMware / Hyper-V), and server-side application modules.
• High-Level Systems Integration: Program seamless integrations connecting Access Control, CCTV/VMS, Visitor Management, Building Automation (BMS), and 3rd-party APIs.
• Database & IT Infrastructure:
  
  • Perform Microsoft SQL Server maintenance, database setup, data migrations, and schema updates.
  • Manage Active Directory/LDAP syncs, static IP routing, VLAN configurations, and switch setup.
• Advanced Tier-3 Support: Serve as the internal escalation lead for complex network drops, software bugs, database corruption, and inter-system communication issues.
• Client Handover & Mentorship: Lead IT/Security walk-throughs with enterprise client stakeholders and mentor junior field technicians on system programming.

What We’re Looking For

• Enterprise Access Control Expertise: Deep programming knowledge and advanced certifications in enterprise platforms—such as Software House (C•CURE 9000), Gallagher, Genetec Synergis, LenelS2, or Inner Range Integriti.
• Enterprise VMS Experience: High-level experience configuring platforms like Genetec Omnicast, Milestone XProtect, or Avigilon Control Center.
• Strong IT & Networking Capability:
  
  • Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server environments.
  • Sound understanding of Windows Server OS, virtual machines, TCP/IP networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Licences: Valid Security Licence, Open Cabler’s Registration, and a clean Driver's Licence.
