About the role
As a Hair Dresser at Bixie Colour, you will play a vital role in providing an amazing experience, and of course hair styling and or colour services to our diverse clientele.
This full-time position is based in our gorgeous salon located in the vibrant suburb of Surry Hills, NSW. You will be part of a beautiful, talented and creative team, dedicated to delivering outstanding hair transformations and ensuring our customers leave feeling confident and beautiful.
What you'll be doing
- Hair cutting, colouring, and styling services tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences, specifically short hair1
- Consulting with clients to understand their desired look and provide expert recommendations
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon
- Proactively staying up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices
- Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, relaxing environment for our clients
- Collaborating with the wider salon team to ensure a seamless and efficient operation
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a hair dresser in a salon environment
- Technical skills in a range of hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques. ( Short & mens hair is a must )
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- A creative flair and passion for the hair and beauty industry
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
- Open to learning new techniques and growing together.
